PostHeaderIcon History of Pool Cue Abuse

Not just people and other living things can be abused. If you look into the history of some famous sports you can encounter drastic acts done on some precious game equipment. Take the pool cue as an example. During the Mosconi Cup, a pool cue was smashed either due to frustration, innate bad behavior or burst of emotions by Earl Strickland. This happened just recently but not that unique at all. A similar incident happened in 1945 where famous Ralph Greenleaf broke his pool cue during a match-up with Mosconi. It was also Greenleaf’s last world championship challenge of Mosconi. Some also made the pool cue like a spear during a tournament. If there is anything good with what happened is that most people went curious over the game and watched the game over and over again. The Strickland incident was viewed for about 200,000 times through the internet. What is your opinion about this?
