He was the first ever male British pool player to have won the WPA World Nine-Ball Championship competition. It was that time when he beat Roberto Gomez, a Filipino pool player. He was able to win a total of 5 titles in the British 9-Ball Championships and he is a member of the 2007 Mosconi Cup – Team Europe. They were the ones who had the very controversial match with American, Earl Strickland. At present, Daryl is ranked to be at No. 4 of the world’s greatest by the World Pool Billiard Association.
