Mark Selby, Jester from Leicester
Mark Selby is known to be one of the youngest professional players of the snooker world. This started when he joined the much paid ranks only as a 16 year old in 1999. But it was not until the year 2007 when he started to show what he can really do in this line. His amazing run to the finals held at the Crucible Theatre made everyone really noticed the talents he have. His skills for the sport can even be considered as heroic to most sneaker critics and his unique antics made him earn the sports nick name of the Jester from Leicester. This also started his legion of fans.
Even after his win during the 2008 Saga Insurance Masters at Wembley, there were still many triumphs to come that made everyone excited. He followed up this triumph with his first ever ranking event title when he came from the back of the game against Ronnie O’Sullivan during the Welsh Open.
One thing is for sure: the future is bright for this young snooker player.
